Christilyn's Story
Growing up, I was always interested in understanding the human mind, behaviour and patterns. This led me to pursue a degree in Psychology and HR, where I learnt about the underlying theories of human behaviour, social psychology and more.
While at University, I became a huge foodie and I started up a few food social media pages in Perth and Melbourne. I’d take pictures and videos and post my recommendations as a guide for locals. To my surprise, my pages grew and went viral locally. There were instances where my post of a restaurants on the brink of closing down… made them the busiest restaurant in that suburb.
I realised the power of social media and how just one viral post can change the trajectory of a business. My food social media pages was a fun hobby. However, I thought – How can I create a more sustainable impact for businesses? I knew I was missing something.

The Big Problem
I landed a job at a marketing agency whilst studying at Uni. During this time, I was exposed to digital and print media in different industries. I found joy working with Health & Beauty business owners as they took pride in their services and quality of work rather than just making money alone – Which resonated with me.
At that time, I noticed significant problems these business owners would repeatedly face – The inability to grow their business due to the inconsistent flow of clients coming in each month, especially during off-peak seasons. Having a new part-time (let alone full-time) team member would become a financial burden if their bookings were not filled.
Most would seek help from renowned marketing agencies but leave burnt with a sour aftertaste. This is because most marketing agencies are focused on delivering cookie cutter services and branding Ads rather than Direct Response Marketing where every dollar counts.
I realised these businesses needed results-driven systems to create consistent results – AKA gain new clients every single month. Additionally, when an agency is not specialised in your industry, they often don’t understand your tone of voice that resonates with your ideal clients.
The Opportunity
I realised the secret to how businesses making 15k/months, grew to 150k/months. This is where I found my opportunity. I graduated uni, quit my marketing job, stopped my food pages, turned down full time job offers, and went all in to start Neho Media in 2019.
Today, Neho Media is a successful agency that is fast (100% online), results driven, and ethical. Working with us is refreshing because we understand Health & Beauty service businesses – the good, bad, and the pain points. We help you avoid mistakes as we know what works and what doesn’t.
As a business owner, I understand the end goal for most is Lifestyle and financial freedom. We risk it all to start a business, but find ourselves working 12 hour days and become a slave to our business. My mission is to help you build your dream lifestyle and business through marketing systems. So you can take a step back and finally enjoy the fruits of your labour.
